In a unexpected crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The questline focuses on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
